I just came back from a most glorious weekend at the absolutely gi-normous Natural Products Expo in Anaheim. If you’ve never been, it’s huge. MASSIVE. And every natural or quasi-natural product under the sun is there, representin’, and giving away tons of free samples. Did I mention TONS of free samples?
This year, I was on the other side of the table — literally — as a sample-provider. I joined forces with the Navitas Naturals crew for a couple days and was on smoothie-making duty. It was like the gates of heaven had opened: every amazing superfood under the sun (which is the greatness that Navitas Naturals is known for) at my disposal to use . . . with the harsh instructions of “make whatever you want.” I know. Life is tough.
I made just all kinds of fancy pants smoothies, but by the end of the weekend, there was one concoction in particular that was a clear winner in the popularity department. I had a LOT of questions on how to make it – from mainstream foodies to smoothie connoisseurs alike — so I thought I’d post the recipe here, as we all know confusion doesn’t belong in a smoothie!
